The Journey so far

After a lengthy period of research we wrote the show during a 6 month period from November 2016 to April 2017 o that the premiere performances at Brighton would coincide with the 50th anniversary of the legalisation of Sexual relations between men in the UK (in 1967.)

As it is very much about Turing it generated huge interest at two semi-staged performances at Brighton Festival Fringe. Over 250 people attended over two nights and received standing ovations. As a result we were invited to tour to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Studio, (4 perfs ) Wimbledon Studio (3 perfs) and Peterborough Keys Theatre during the autumn of 2017.

We aim to find a producer to continue development to a fully fledged production. It is an 8 hander at present: a full production would probably need a cast of 10.

For Brighton and the Tour the Director was David Kettle, Musical Director was Greg Arrowsmith and Jamie Sheasby gave an acclaimed performance as Alan Turing.
